The leader of our team is Dr. Steven Imberman. He has more than twenty-five years of experience in dentistry, which has been marked by ongoing study and expansion of excellence. This lifetime of learning has brought high levels of technical and academic strength to his practice. He is fully trained to provide an "Extreme Makeover" for patients wanting a dramatic change in their smile.

Education
In 1974, he was an honor graduate in chemistry from Queens College CUNY. He completed his DDS degree in 1977 from NYU College of Dentistry. His personal philosophy of "dental health for a lifetime" is a firm foundation that pays dividends for his patients. When designing new smiles, he always chooses a technique or material that will allow a patient's smile to be healthy and look beautiful.

His commitment to keeping abreast of the rapidly evolving technological advances in dentistry is one important way of assuring his patients that the quality they expect is always there for them. Since graduation from dental school, he has obtained advanced training in endodontics, non-surgical periodontal care, implants, and bonding/adhesive techniques for porcelain crowns, onlays "white fillings", and TMJ. More recently, he has completed multi-level and intensive courses from the Dawson Center of Advanced Studies, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Frank Spears of the Seattle Institute for Advanced Education, Dr. John Kois, and Dr. Steven Buchanan. He is fully capable of providing an "Extreme Makeover" for patients wanting a dramatic change in their smile.

Advances and techniques in cosmetic dentistry are constantly changing. That is why Dr. Imberman feels it is so important to stay up-to-date. When you are with Dr. Imberman, you can be assured he is providing the most advanced cosmetic dentistry available today.

Personal
During leisure time, Dr. Imberman enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Susan, and sons, Scott, Mathew, and Adam. One of his favorite destinations is the New Jersey shore

Dr. Imberman is an active member of the New York State Dental Association, the Second District Dental Society, the Richmond County Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Osseointegration, the International Congress for Oral Implantologists, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has received an award from the Dental Society of New York for Continuing Education Achievement.
